Wax Equipment Use Cases
The various types of wax listed here are in a variety of products that have many different uses that make life better. Whether your business is creating candles, cosmetics, polishing waxes, or even pharmaceuticals, Coogar Products wax equipment can help streamline the process and increase your business’s efficiency. Below are the most common products made using our equipment.
Candles
There are multiple types of candle wax available. The most common waxes used in candle making include Paraffin, palm wax, beeswax and soy wax. Some of these waxes, like Paraffin, are harder, while other waxes, like soy, are softer. The different candle wax types also retain scents differently, so the ideal wax will depend on the type of candle you are making.
Candles are an obvious use case for our wax melting equipment and whether your candle product is using soy or Paraffin, our machines work perfectly to ensure you get an accurate mixture of wax, color, and fragrance for your candles.
Soap
Wax used in soap must stay hard and keep from dissolving. Traditionally, soap is a mixture of sodium hydroxide and either coconut oil, palm oil, tallow or lard. Today’s soaps include wax such as Paraffin, beeswax and palm wax in place of tallow or lard.
Our wax melting and mixing equipment improves efficiency to help you grow your soap making business.
Cosmetics
There are many types of waxes used in cosmetics, however, Palm wax and Microcrystalline are the most commonly used. Both waxes are fragrant-free and won’t harm or irritate the skin.
Spa waxes aim to exfoliate, soothe and smooth skin. Some also relieve muscle tension. Common waxes used in spa wax are Paraffin and Carnauba. Many spas also have depilatory wax used specifically for body hair removal.
At Coogar Products, our wax melting and pumping equipment can be used with the above types of wax to create various cosmetic products such as lip balms, face masks, creams and lotions, and hair waxing products.
Other Use Cases for Our Wax Melting & Mixing Equipment

Automotive/Marine Wax
Wax polish products for vehicles and boats are commonly made using Carnauba was which is long-lasting and water-resistant.
Pharmaceutical Wax
Waxes are key ingredients in medical ointments, lotions, creams, gel capsule medications and suppositories. Carnauba, Beeswax, Paraffin, Candelilla and Microcrystalline Wax are popular choices for these pharmaceutical wax applications.
Leather Wax
The most commonly used waxes in leather wax are beeswax and Carnauba wax. Paraffin and other petroleum waxes are still sometimes used. Many leather wax products contain a combination of these different waxes.
Textile Waxes
Most modern clothing is made from waterproof, synthetic materials. Textile waxes close spaces between the fibers and makes them water-resistant. Most textile waxes are made of Polyethylene wax.
Packaging Wax
There are a variety of waxes used in packaging, due in large part because of the vast diversity of products that need packaging. Both petroleum-based wax, particularly Paraffin, and natural waxes such as beeswax and Candelilla wax are used in the packaging of food and goods.
Casting Wax
There are two different types of casting wax: one is a soft, solid wax that is used in dentistry for molds and patterns of dental appliances to keep them from damaging and irritating the soft tissue inside the mouth (dental wax) and another wax made from a blending of various waxes that can be carved or shaped and then overlaid with metal, usually for making jewelry and small sculptures (metal molding). The former is usually made from paraffin wax while the latter traditionally used beeswax.
Cheese Wax
This special type of wax protects cheese from mold growth and excessive moisture. Cheese wax is often red in color and is made from a combination of paraffin and microcrystalline waxes.
Chemical Plant Wax
These varieties of waxes help preserve food and plants as well as give them a pleasant, shiny exterior. Candelilla and Carnauba waxes are the most commonly used as they have been rated as being safe for human consumption.
